
Women's Lacrosse Announces Class of 2029

Brown women’s lacrosse head coach Katrina Dowd has announced 11 newcomers to the program for the 2026 season.
The class of 2029 includes: Caroline Nozzolillo, Tesse Bachelder, Izzy Keyes, Kayla Davi, Sunnie Wang, Amelie Devine, Mackenzie Conway, Fiona Vu, Annie Dignazio, Kathleen Denvir, and Mackenzie Farley.
The 11 newcomers will join a Brown team that reached its first-ever Ivy League Tournament and NCAA Tournament in 2025. The Bears matched a program record with 10 wins for the second-straight season under Dowd.
Tessie Batchelder
Attack | 5-6 | Weston, Mass. | Noble and Greenough School
At Noble and Greenough School, Tessie scored 74 goals and accumulated 46 assists. She was All-ISL, All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention, and the Noble and Greenough Offensive Player of the Year as a senior. Noble and Greenough also won four ISL Championships with Tessie on the squad. Tessie was a member of the American Select 2022 Massachusetts Top Team and the American Select 2022 Massachusetts First All-Tournament Team. An Under Armour 150 Nominee, Tessie also was a Juniors Open Participant, Juniors Open First All-Tournament Team, and a member of the American Select 2023 Top Team. She was invited to stage two of the US National Team Development Program (2023, 2024). A member of the New Balance All-American New England Team and Best in Class Sixes Champion. Her club team, Mass Elite Club Lacrosse, ranked within the top 10 in the country for three consecutive years while ranking fourth nationally, the program’s best all-time ranking.
An Alpine Skier, Tessie was a six-time All-ISL performer, a six-time ISL Champion and a three-time All-NEPSAC performer.

Izzy Keyes
Attack | 5-9 | Belmont, Mass. | Dexter-Southfield

A two-time USA Lacrosse All-American (2024, 2025), Izzy was All-NEPSAC twice. She was a member of the All-European Team at World Qualifiers (2025), a top 100 recruit in the class of 2025, a 4-star recruit by Inside Lacrosse, and an IL Women Power 100 Freshman. Izzy was a two-time captain at Dexter-Southfield and a member of the All-America Underclass Tournament Highlight Team (2024). She’s also a member of the Czech Senior and Olympic Development Team and participated in the 2025 World Games in China. In 2023, Izzy was a member of the Massachusetts-Rhode Island USA Lacrosse National Tournament First Team. Izzy ranked in the top 20 players from Best in Class by Inside Lacrosse, a three-time Nike American Select Blue member and a 2021 Under Armour All-American Invitee in 2021.

Amelie Devine
Defense | 5-8 | Chicago, Ill. | Milton Academy

Amelie played club lacrosse for Lakeshore Lacrosse while being named All-ISL Honorable Mention at Milton Academy.

Kayla Davi
Midfield / Defense | 5-4 | Bernardsville, N.J. | Bernards High School
Accumulated 196 goals, 95 assists, 291 points, 193 draw controls, and 142 ground balls in four seasons at Bernards High School. Kayla was nominated as the top freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior by Nj.com and was a four-time All-Conference performer. She was a member of the Statewide All-Star Team in 2024 and 2025. In 2024, she was invited to the USA National Development Team Combine. A 4-star recruit by Inside Lacrosse, Kayla was a three-time New Balance All-American and a member of the New Balance All-American Tournament Team in 2023.

Sunnie Wang
Attack | 5-7 | Dallas, Texas | The Hockaday School
Sunnie posted 116 points (81G, 35A) as a senior to lead the team in points, goals, and assists. She is a two-time USA Lacrosse Academic All-American (2024, 2025). The Hockaday School won four-straight Texas D1 State Championships with Sunnie on the squad, the team also went undefeated for four years in the state of Texas. Sunnie won four SPC Conference Championships while being named All-State twice (2024, 2025), and All-SPC three times (2022, 2024, 2025).
Sunnie was also a four-time member of the USA National Team Development Program (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024). A 2024 Sandstorm Champion, Sunny was named to the “players that impressed” at the 2023 American Select. At the Under Armour 150 in 2022, Sunny placed in the top 15 in 5-10-5 agility and was named to the All-Tournament Second Team at the 2022 American Select.

Brown feels like the perfect place for me both academically and athletically and I couldn’t be more excited.”
Caroline Nozzolillo
Attack | 5-9 | Westwood, Mass. | Westwood High School
Caroline tallied 271 goals, 186 assists, 118 draw controls, 90 ground balls, and 72 caused turnovers as a four-year member of the women’s lacrosse varsity team at Westwood High School. In 2022, Caroline was a Tri-Valley League All-Star Honorable Mention, she was a Tri-Valley League All-Star (2023, 2024, 2025) and the Tri-Valley League MVP in 2025. In 2024 and 2025, she was a USA Lacrosse All-American and a First Team EMGLCA All-Star (2024, 2025). Caroline helped guide Westwood to the State Championship in 2022.
A two-sport athlete, Caroline also played basketball at Westwood and was a four-year varsity player.

Fiona Vu
Midfield | 5-8 | Rocky Point, N.Y. | Rocky Point High School

Fiona was named All-County three times as a member of the Rocky Point women’s lacrosse team, she was also an Academic All-American and earned the Coaches Award at Rocky Point on two separate occasions.
Fiona also played field hockey and basketball at Rocky Point. In field hockey, she was All-County Honorable Mention, and was named All-County twice. She also earned the Coaches Award in field hockey and Rocky Point took home a county championship. On the basketball court, Fiona also earned the Coaches Award.
Why Brown: “I chose to play lacrosse at Brown because of the amazing coaches, supportive teammates, and the strong team culture. It allows me to compete at a high level while pursuing incredible academics; and I’m beyond excited to continue growing as a player and person at Brown.”
Mackenzie Farley
Midfield | 5-10 | Temecula, Calif. | Linfield Christian

Mackenzie played three years of men’s lacrosse at Linfield Christian, she scored 152 goals and had 77 assists in 61 games. She played one year of women’s lacrosse at St. Margaret's Episcopal as a junior, she had 132 goals, 26 assists, 201 draw controls, 66 ground balls, and 29 caused turnovers in 20 games.
Mackenzie was named the 2025 Female Athlete of the Year, named to the USA West All-Region Team (2025), a USA All-American (2024), 2024 Girls Lacrosse MVP, and a 2024 All-CIF-SS First Team member. In boys lacrosse, she was named First Team All-League three times, and was a scholar athlete three times. She also was named the 2022 Boys Lacrosse Freshman of the Year. Mackenzie also ran cross country in high school and was a Scholar Athlete twice and was First Team All-League (2022).
She was ranked the #39 recruit in the class of 2025 by Lacrosse Magazine and was an IL Women Power 100 Freshman. She was named a First Wave 4-Star recruit by Inside Lacrosse, and a 2025 Adrenaline All-American Game Standout/Player to Watch. She was also named a Player to Watch at Lax for the Cure and an E12 DC Camp All-Star Selection. At American Select, she was chosen as a player that impressed, she also was named to the Pacific Elite Showcase All-Star Team.
On the international stage, Mackenzie is a member of the Korean Senior National Team.

Mackenzie Conway
Goalie | 5-10 | West Bloomfield, Mich. | Mercy High School
As a senior captain, Mackenzie started 11 games while recording 111 saves, 44 caused turnovers, 34 ground balls, and a save percentage of 54.0. She was limited to 11 games due to injury. She was named a USA Lacrosse All-American, MHSAA State record holder for most career saves, MHSAA First Team All-State, Catholic League Coaches Association All-Catholic First Team, the Mercy High School Defensive Player of the Year, and the Catholic League Player of the Year Finalist.
As a junior captain, she started all 19 games and recorded 201 saves with an average of 11 saves per game. She caused 29 turnovers, earned 38 ground balls, and stopped 56.0 percent of the shots she faced (359 shots faced). She was a USA Lacrosse All-American, a New Balance All-American (selected to the All-Tournament Team in the Girls Highlight Division). She was MHSAA First Team All-State, a MHSAA State Semifinalist, A MHSAA Regional Champion, and a Catholic League Champion. She was also a Catholic League Coaches Association All-Catholic First Team, the Mercy High School Defensive Player of the Year.
As a sophomore captain, she started all 16 games and stopped 61 percent of the 374 shots faced. She recorded 230 saves, an average of 14 per game, caused 22 turnovers and grabbed 28 ground balls. Mackenzie earned a MHSAA First Team All-State nod, and MHSAA Academic All-State. She was named First Team All-Catholic League Coaches Association, and the Mercy High School Defensive Player of the Year.
As a freshman, she started all 17 games in goal and recorded 186 saves for an average of 10.94 per game. She stopped 55.4 percent of the 336 shots faced. She was named MHSAA Second Team All-State, a MHSAA State Semifinalist, and a MHSAA Regional Champion. Mercy High School won its first Catholic League Championship in 16 Years and Mackenzie was named First Team All-Catholic League Coaches Association.

Annie Dignazio
Midfield | 5-4 | Wallingford, Pa. | Strath Haven High School
Annie tallied 189 goals, 88 assists, 400 draw controls, 260 ground balls, and 94 caused turnovers in four years at Strath Haven High School. She was also the captain of the lacrosse, hockey, and soccer teams. She is a member of the Delaware County Athletes Hall of Fame and a recipient of the Michael Raimo Scholar Athlete Award. In lacrosse, she was a USA All-American, USA Academic All-American, PASLA All-Academic, PIAA State Runner Up, First Team All-Delco and First Team All-Central. On the soccer field, she was a PIAA State Champion and the Delaware County Player of the Year. In hockey, Annie was a member of the National Championship Runner Up, she was the point leader at the National Championships. The hockey team also won the Central League Championship.

Kathleen Denvir
Defense | 5-9 | Rye, New York | Rye High School

Kathleen was an AP Scholar at Rye High School and a member of the National Honor Society. She played club lacrosse for Concept Lacrosse.
Why Brown: “The coaching staff and upperclassmen on the lacrosse team.”
