BROWN v. BUCKNELL [W, 11-7]
Aubrie Anderson set the tone for the Bears' first game of the day early, landing the Bears' first two goals shortly into the first period. Madeleine Poissonnier, Samantha Kim, and Ava Schoening matched pace with Bucknell through the second quarter, bumping the score to 5-3 in Brown's favor at the half.
In the third, the Bears picked up four goals to Bucknell's two courtesy of Sofia Holman, Schoening, Emmy Hensley, and Anderson. Schoening and Anderson each struck once more to round out gameplay, picking up their third and fourth goals of the game in the fourth to solidify a Brown victory over Bucknell, 11-7.
BROWN v. MICHIGAN [L, 11-17]
Aubrie Anderson continued to shine in the second game of the day, netting two right away to kick off the matchup against Michigan. Hanna Tidrenczel was next to find the net for the Bears, tying the score at three heading into the second period. Anderson netted Brown's only goal of the second, and the Bears were outscored by three to make the score 4-8 heading into the second half.
Brown matched Michigan's every move in the third, logging five goals. Samantha Kim, Aubrie Anderson, and Claire Poissonnier picked up one apiece, while Madeleine Poissonnier sunk two. Madeleine picked up one more goal in the final period, alongside Gaby Montalvo for her first of the day. Despite the competitive effort, it was not quite enough for Brown to catch back up to Michigan, and the Wolverines collected the win by six.
