Women's Rugby Advances to Semifinals of Collegiate Rugby Championship 7s

BOYDS, Md. – The Brown Bears women's rugby team won both of their contests at the Collegiate Rugby Championship (CRC) 7s on Saturday.

In the first match, the Bears defeated Adrian College 38-0 behind a dominant effort by sophomore Tate Muller who scored three tries. Genie Dickens scored three conversions, while Julia Murray scored one. Olivia Baptiste, Aziza Alford and Nikki Lynch each scored a try in the win.

Brown defeated Navy in their second game by a final of 24-7. Lily Nowak and Nikki Lynch both scored two tries in the effort, as Murray executed two conversions.

They'll face Penn State in tomorrow's semifinal at 12:27 p.m.
