
Men’s Tennis Falls 4-1 to Penn

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's tennis team (18-11, 0-6) fell 4-1 against No. 47 Penn (20-9, 2-4) on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears started strong as they earned two wins in doubles to secure the doubles point. Noah Hernandez and Lukas Phimvongsa won 7-6 (7-4) while Sam Feldman and Alex Finklestein also picked up a victory, 6-3.
In singles, the Bears came up short in all four matches. Three matches ended in straight sets while Oliver Worth forced a third set, he ultimately fell 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 6-1.
Both Noah Hernandez and James Lian were a game away from winning their matches before they were abandoned.
Brown will conclude the regular season Sunday Apr. 20 against No. 30 Princeton.
