"It was a great day for the squad, both teams got valuable minutes and showed growth throughout the day," said Kathleen Flores women's rugby head coach Rosalind Chou. "Really standout performances from a number of athletes today, Tarn Reilly, Sadie Wilson, and Tate Muller on the Brunos side, and both Sorensen nominees, Nikki Lynch and Akilah Cathey really led the team in some difficult moments, especially in the final. We are going to take a few days of rest and then prepare for more excellent competition at Crimson 7s."
