Kino Lilly Jr. Named Ivy League Co-Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior Kino Lilly Jr. of the Brown men's basketball team was named Ivy League Co-Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Lilly Jr. was named Co-Player of the Week alongside Yale forward John Poulakidas.
In Brown's 88-79 win at Penn (Feb. 1), Lilly Jr. scored a career-high 34 points on 9-16 shooting from the field and 8-9 shooting from three-point range. The Glenn Dale, Md. native hit seven first half three-pointers, which matched a career-high for a game, he finished with eight triples, a career-high. Lilly Jr. became the first Bear to score 30 or more points on the road since Brandon Anderson scored 31 at Penn (Feb. 14, 2020). Lilly Jr.'s 88.9 three-point percentage against the Quakers is the ninth-best single game three-point percentage nationally this season.
At Princeton, Lilly Jr. scored a game-high 18 points on 6-14 shooting from the floor and 4-8 shooting from three-point range. He also shot 10-11 from the free throw line in two games this past weekend.
Brown will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 8 when they travel to New York, N.Y. to take on Columbia, tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. at Levien Gymnasium.
