
Women's Water Polo Sweeps CWPA Weekly Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo swept this week's CWPA weekly awards after going 3-1 at the Bronco Invitational over the weekend.
Ava Schoening earned Player of the Week, scoring 10 goals with six steals, six earned exclusions and five assists. Schoening earned her second weekly award of the season after being named Rookie of the Week two weeks ago.
Sofia Holman was named Rookie of the Week for the first time in her career. Holman finished the weekend with eight goals, three steals, three assists and one earned ejection.
Cleo Washer won her first Defensive Player of the Week award after holding down the middle for Brown. Washer had six steals and five field blocks over the weekend, while also playing center defense for the entirety of the overtime periods in a win over Pacific. Washer also scored six goals on the week.
