Rory Edwards Named ECAC Goaltender of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's hockey goalie Rory Edwards was named ECAC MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks after her performances against Harvard and Dartmouth this weekend.
Edwards helped Brown clinch home ice for the first round of the ECAC Playoffs by posted a goals against average of 0.50 and a .975 save percentage.
The sophomore made 39 saves over the weekend with 13 in the win over Harvard and 26 in the win against Dartmouth. Edwards also collected her third-career shutout in the win over Dartmouth.
Edwards joins Cameron Sikich as the second Bear to win multiple ECAC weekly awards this season.
Brown closes out its regular season making the trip to Cornell and Colgate on Friday and Saturday.
