
Women's Swim and Dive Hands Bryant First Loss of Season in 216.5-83.5 Victory

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's swimming and diving (3-3) returned to the Katherine Coleman Aquatics Center and dominated, collecting 12 victories in Saturday's 216.5-83.5 victory over Bryant (5-1).
SUMMARY OF TOP THREE FINISHES
The day began with Brown earning the top three spots in the 200 medley relay as the 'A' team of Nadia Thomas, Angelina Chen, Lily Klinginsmith, and Morgan Lukinac finished in 1:43.41. The 'B' team of Emilia Barck, Amie Barrow, Eva McIver-Jenkins, and Audrey Chung followed in second, and the 'C' team of Crystal Yuen, Kaitlyn Holmes, Hannah Ahn, and Gianna Miller placed third.
Natalie Garre won the 1000 free with a time of 10:03.71, and Sumner Chmielewski placed second in the event.
Kelly Dolce and Lily Robinson finished first and second, respectively, in the 200 free. Thomas placed second, and Brooke Manning was third in the 100 backstroke. Chen (1:03.84) and Holmes went 1-2 in the 100 breaststroke.
McIver-Jenkins and Beatrice Stewart finished second and third in the 200-meter butterfly. Chung won the 50 free with a time of 23.34, and Lukinac placed second in the event.
The dive events began with Elena Yeh (317.78) winning the 3-meter dive, followed by Isabella George (302.40) and Chloe Wong (283.35).
Lukinac (50.65) added another 100 freestyle victory, and Isabella Dieffenthaller (50.95) and Dolce (51.35) placed second and third in the event. Garre (2:01.50), Barck (2:02.58), and Thomas (2:03.36) made up the top three finishers in the 200 backstroke. Holmes won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:20.95, and Martyna Kaps placed third.
Yuen earned her second 500 free win of the season (first came vs. Yale), finishing in 4:59.97. Stewart and Amelia Hines finished second and third, respectively. Klinginsmith and McIver-Jenkins were second and third in the 100 butterfly.
Yeh's second win came in the 1-meter dive with a score of 299.70. Bowie Krawczyk followed at 294.60. Barck and Manning placed second and third in the 200 IM.
The Bears capped the day with all three relay teams scoring in the 400 free relay. Yuen, Dieffenthaller, Dolce, and Lukinac comprised the 'A' team, Robinson, Chun, Lizzy Washburn, and McIver-Jenkins made up the 'B' team, and Dana Li, Garre, Ahn, and Gianna Miller made up the 'C' squad.
UP NEXT
Brown turns the calendar to 2026 and returns to Ivy League competition on Jan. 17 when the Bears host Columbia at noon. The conference duel against the Lions will be Senior Day for the women's swimming and diving program.
