Football to Host Dartmouth for Senior Day and Season Finale

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown football team will conclude the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon when it hosts Dartmouth at Richard Gouse Field at Brown Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon on ESPN+, NESN, and the Learfield Varsity Network.
All Brown University faculty and staff members can claim up to two free tickets for the game by visiting BrownBears.com/tickets and logging in with their Brown credentials (must be purchased online).
Prior to the game Brown will honor its 24-member Senior Class of 2025.

OPENING KICKOFF
- Saturday's matchup will be the 102nd all-time game between the two schools.
- Dartmouth is receiving votes in both the Stats Perform FCS and AFCA FCS Coaches Polls this week.
- Brown QB James Murphy ranks second in FCS with 286.2 passing yards per game.
- Brown's Ike Odimegwu enters the game with 9.0 sacks, just 2.0 sacks shy of tying the single season program record.
- Trevor Foley is averaging 128.0 receiving yards over the last three games.
PROTECTING THE FOOTBALL
- Brown's offense has not lost a fumble all season. The Bears' only lost fumble this season came on a muffed punt against Princeton.
- Brown is tied for first in FCS and first in the Ivy League with one lost fumble.
- Brown is one of seven teams in FCS with one fumble lost this season.
- The Bears have also been good at creating turnovers, tied for 10th nationally and No. 1 in the Ivy with nine fumble recoveries.
PASSING LEADER
- Quarterback James Murphy remains No. 2 in all of FCS Football with 286.2 passing yards per game.
- He has thrown for at least 340 yards in four consecutive games and five of the last six.
GO-TO TARGETS
- Brown is the only Ivy League team with multiple receivers in the top seven in the league in receiving yards per game.
- Ty Pezza is sixth in the league with 61.8 receiving yards per game.
- Sophomore receiver Trevor Foley has emerged as a go-to target for the Bears this season, ranking seventh in the league with 59.1 receiving yards per game.
Foley has had at least five catches and 99 yards receiving in three straight games.
AMONG THE IVY SACK LEADERS
- Junior Ike Odimegwu enters this weekend second in the Ivy League with 9.0 sacks this season. Nine of his of his 20.0 tackles thus far have been sacks.
- He is now up to seventh in FCS with 1.0 sack per game.
- He enters Saturday 2.0 sacks shy of the single-season program record.
TURNOVERS TELLING THE TALE
- Brown has lost all five games this season when it has turned the ball over the same amount or more than its opponent and won all four games where it has won the turnover battle.
- Brown's turnover margin of +0.44 is third-best in the Ivy League.
DEFENSE IMPROVEMENT UNDER MULROONEY
- New defensive coordinator Dan Mulrooney's system has helped spur a huge improvement in the Bears' defense in 2025.
- Brown is allowing 26.89 points per game this season, nearly seven points fewer than last season.
- Brown's 402.8 yards allowed per game is the second-lowest of the Perry era.
- Brown ranks second in the Ivy League with 21.0 sacks this season.
- The Bears have recovered nine fumbles this season, which is the most in the Ivy League and 10th nationally.
- Brown is fourth in the Ivy with eight INTs this season.
PILING UP THE SACKS
- Entering this weekend, Brown is second in the Ivy League (21.0 sacks) and ranks 33rd nationally in the FCS (2.33 sacks per game) in sacks through nine games.
- A significant uptick from previous years, Brown has now surpassed its 2024 total of 16.0 team sacks.
- The 21.0 sacks this season are the most of the James Perry era.
