Adams-Lopez Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - First-year guard Charlotte Adams-Lopez has been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
The North Attleboro, Mass. native has started in all three games for Brown this season. Last week Adams-Lopez closed out both of Brown's games in double figures, and led the team in scoring for the week. Adams-Lopez posted a career-high 14 points at Holy Cross (Nov. 12) and tied her high again in Brown's 56-54 win at UMBC (Nov. 16). She also ranks within the top-25 scorers in the Ivy League at 17th, averaging 10.0 points per game.
Adams-Lopez has shot a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line, assisted on four baskets, and posted two steals in her three games. She is shooting on average 42% from the field, and 38% from beyond the arc.
The Bears will host Boston University in its home opener on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside of the Pizzitola Sports Center.
