Guy Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's soccer first-year forward Jael-Marie Guy was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. This is the second time that Guy has received this honor.
The first-year forward scored and assisted during the Bears' 4-0 win over Penn on Saturday. After pick-pocketing the goalkeeper, Guy made a move to elude defenders before blasting the ball into the empty net.
On the assist, Guy threaded a pass to Kyra Treanor, who moved it to Corine Gregory for the first goal of the game. It ended up being the game-winning goal.
The Bears are preparing for their Alumni Day matchup with Dartmouth on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m., following the men's match at 1 p.m.
