Women’s Basketball Selected Fifth in Ivy League Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Ivy League announced their 2025-26 women's basketball preseason poll results on Thursday, with Brown landing at fifth.
The Bears earned a total of 84 points, pushing them ahead of Dartmouth, Cornell, and Yale. In the 2024-25 preseason poll, Brown was also picked to finish fifth with 71 points.
The top four teams in the Ivy League will punch their ticket to Ivy Madness, which will be hosted by Cornell in March.
The Bears will open up their season on Friday, Nov. 7 when they travel to Nashville, Tenn. to take on Belmont. Brown's first home game of the year will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 19 when they host Boston University at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
