Men’s Tennis Defeats Fairfield and Sacred Heart

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's tennis team moved to 6-0 for the first time since the 2019 season with wins over Farfield (6-1) and Sacred Heart (5-0) on Sunday.

Brown picked up all three doubles victories against Fairfield before winning five out of six singles matches. Alex Finkelstein, Noah Hernandez, Lukas Phimvongsa, James Lian, and Toby Luo each earned singles victories against the Stags.

Brown continued its strong day with a 5-0 win over Sacred Heart, Brown swept all three doubles matches and all four singles matches against the Pioneers.

Hernandez, Phimvongsa, and Lian each picked up their second singles victories of the day as Zander Bravo also picked up a singles victory for Brown.

The Bears will be back in action next weekend as they travel to Purdue on Saturday, Feb. 1 and Indiana on Sunday, Feb. 2.
