Men's Soccer Visits #18 Providence on Tuesday

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Brown men's soccer team will battle for the city on Tuesday when they take on #18 Providence College at 7 p.m. on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium.

The game will be broadcast live on FloSports.

Scouting the Bears (3-2-1)

Brown has won their past two games in a row, totaling 10 goals between both games. Lorenzo Amaral, Stefano D'Agostini, Mads Stistrup Petersen, Andre Romo, James Snaith, Dylan Ellis, Carlo Brown, and Harri Sprofera have all contributed to that total.
Lorenzo Amaral leads the team with four goals and three assists for a total of 11 points.
Dylan Ellis posted his first goal of the season and one assist in Saturday's matchup against Stonehill.
Goalkeeper Henrik Weiper has made 25 saves so far this season.

Scouting the Friars (5-2-1)

Providence has also won their previous two games beating Bryant 2-1, and Seton Hall 1-0.
Rodrigo Vaza scored the lone goal against Seton Hall, earning the Friars' win.
Pepe Lora leads the Friars with three goals for a total of six points.

History

The rivalry of Brown and Providence dates back to 2010 when the pair first met, with the game ending in a 0-0 tie after going into double overtime.
The Friars and Bears most recently met in 2023 with the game ending in a 1-1 tie.
Brown is 4-6-3 when playing Providence. The Bears look to add another tally to their win column.
