Men's Soccer Visits #18 Providence on Tuesday

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Brown men's soccer team will battle for the city on Tuesday when they take on #18 Providence College at 7 p.m. on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium.Â

Scouting the Bears (3-2-1)
- Brown has won their past two games in a row, totaling 10 goals between both games. Lorenzo Amaral, Stefano D'Agostini, Mads Stistrup Petersen, Andre Romo, James Snaith, Dylan Ellis, Carlo Brown, and Harri Sprofera have all contributed to that total.
- Lorenzo Amaral leads the team with four goals and three assists for a total of 11 points.Â
- Dylan Ellis posted his first goal of the season and one assist in Saturday's matchup against Stonehill.
- Goalkeeper Henrik Weiper has made 25 saves so far this season.
- Providence has also won their previous two games beating Bryant 2-1, and Seton Hall 1-0.
- Rodrigo Vaza scored the lone goal against Seton Hall, earning the Friars' win.
- Pepe Lora leads the Friars with three goals for a total of six points.
- The rivalry of Brown and Providence dates back to 2010 when the pair first met, with the game ending in a 0-0 tie after going into double overtime.
- The Friars and Bears most recently met in 2023 with the game ending in a 1-1 tie.
- Brown is 4-6-3 when playing Providence. The Bears look to add another tally to their win column.
