Brown Athletics Announces New Beer-Naming Contest

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown Athletics is excited to invite fans to submit ideas for the name of a new Brown University-themed beer from Narraganset Brewery.
The new beer will be available at Brown Athletic contests this fall and will also be available for purchase at Narragansett Brewery as well as retail locations throughout the greater Providence area.
Fans can submit their entry for the new beer by clicking here. Entries will be accepted now through July 10, with the winner expected to be announced later in the month. The winner will receive a special Brown Athletics prize pack and tickets to the football home opener vs. Harvard on September 28!
The new beer - a pale ale – will be the second Brown Athletics-themed beer, coming on the heels of successful launch of Bruno Brew, which was unveiled in September 2023. Bruno Brew was available exclusively at various Brown Athletics contests throughout the 2023-24 season and will continue to be available only at Brown athletic events during the upcoming year. The new beer will also be available at Brown athletics events starting this fall, in addition to retail locations so fans can enjoy from home.
One of the first chances for fans to get the new beer will be at Brown football's home opener against Harvard on September 28. Season ticket packages that include all five home games are available now, as well as other benefits that are only available to season ticket holders. More information on season tickets is available here and fans can visit BrownBears.com/Football24 to purchase their season tickets today.
