
Coed Sailing Earns Fourth Place Finish at Open Fleet Race National Championship

The Western semifinals took place from May 24-25. The Bears finished the semis in third place, securing their spot in the finals. Roger Williams, Yale, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Tufts, College of Charleston, St. Mary's College of Maryland. Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and Bowdoin placed within the top nine, sending them to the finals as well. In the Eastern semifinals, Harvard, Dartmouth, Stanford, Boston Collee, Georgetown, Tulane, URI, U.S. Naval Academy, MIT, and the University of Miami clinched their spot in the finals.
The finals took place from May 26-27. Harvard took first place in the event with Yale in second, Dartmouth in third, Brown in fourth, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy capping off the top five. Vera Allen, Leyton Borcherding, Guthrie Braun, Caroline Keeffe-Jones, Olivia Miller, Emily Mueller, Connor Nelson, Liam O'Keefe, Lily Shore, Camren Spriggs, Mason Stang, and Savannah Young represented the Bears at Nationals.
This competition marks the end of the season for the Bears.
