Men's Lacrosse Picks Up Two All-New England Honorees

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Two Bears – Charlie Cave and Aidan McLane – picked up NEILA All-New England honors. The NEILA announced the year-end awards on Wednesday.
Cave picks up First Team honors after a breakout sophomore campaign where he led the Bears with 20 caused turnovers. His 37 ground balls ranked second on the team. He posted six ground balls and four caused turnovers in Brown's 13-12 win over 13th-ranked Princeton. Additionally, Cave buried two goals on three shots.
Cave's 20 caused turnovers ranked third in the Ivy League.
McLane earns Second Team honors for the second straight season after leading the Bears in 2024 with 34 goals and 40 points. He also led the squad in man-up goals (6), shots (166), and shots on goal (83). He finished the spring with six hat tricks, including six goals against Providence and four goals against both Yale and Harvard.
McLane's 2.43 goals per game ranked sixth in the conference. He earned First Team All-New England honors in 2023.
