PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The seventh-ranked Brown Bears are set for their 27th straight NCAA Championship appearance after being selected as an at-large pick in Tuesday evening's selection show.
Brown, Princeton, and Washington are the only three programs to appear in every NCAA Championship since its inception in 1997.
The 2024 NCAA Championships are set to begin on Friday, May 31 and will continue through Sunday, June 2 at East Fork/Harsha Lake in Bethel, Ohio. The Championship is hosted by Marietta College and the Cincinnati USA Sports Commission.
Brown's Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8, and Varsity 4 crews will be seeded in the 22-team field.
The 22-team field consists of 11 automatic qualifiers and 11 at-large selections. Brown is one of four Ivy League teams set to compete along with Penn, Princeton, and Yale. The Ivy League is tied for the most teams from a conference alongside the B1G (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio State, Rutgers).
Brown has captured seven NCAA Championships since 1997 and looks for number eight in 2024. The Bears have 17 top-5 finishes and 25 top-10 finishes in Championship history.
