Women's Water Polo Ends Road Trip with Win at California Baptist

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Brown women's water polo closed out its California spring break trip with a 12-7 win at California Baptist on Thursday (March 28).
Brown was led by three goals each from Madeleine Poissonnier and Claire Poissonnier. Cleo Washer and Ella Palmer each had two goals. In goal, Roxanne Hazuka had six saves.
The Bears led 3-2 after one quarter with the goals coming from Palmer, Claire Poissonner and Aubrie Anderson. Brown took control of the game with a 5-2 second quarter. Poissonnier added two more goals in the second, while Emily Suong, Washer and Palmer all netted one goal.
Washer scored once in the third quarter and Madeleine Poissonnier picked up her hat trick with one goal in the third and two in the fourth.
UP NEXT
Brown will return to conference play with three games at Bucknell next weekend. Brown will play Saint Francis and Buckell on Saturday, before facing off against Michigan on Sunday.
