Men's Swimming & Diving Recognized with Third Highest Fall GPA, Women Post Highest in Ivy

RICHMOND, Va. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recognized Brown men's swimming and diving and women's swimming and diving as Fall 2023 Scholar All-America Teams. The men posted the third-highest GPA in the fall, and the women led all Ivy League programs.

"I'm so proud of how well the team has operated at such a high level, academically and athletically. They hold themselves to high standards and appreciate the incredible opportunities that a school like Brown presents."
CSCAA
The CSCAA featured 783 teams from 461 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2023 semester. These teams, representing a total of 18,716 student-athletes, were chosen based on their outstanding academic performance during the specified semester.
To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to exhibit exceptional grade point averages during the Fall 2023 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 595 achieved a GPA of 3.30 or above, earning eligibility for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
