HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a three-and-out to start the game for the Bears' offense, Dartmouth drove right down the field and scored on a third down 13-yard touchdown pass for the 7-0 lead at the 11:00 mark.
- The Big Green stuck again early in the second quarter on a 35-yard touchdown pass from Jackson Proctor to Painter Richards-Baker for a 35-yard score at 13:31 to go up by two touchdowns.
- The Bears took advantage of a huge special teams miscue by Dartmouth to jump on the board at 6:12 of the second quarter on a two-yard QB keeper by Willcox to cut it to 14-7. The drive was set up after a bad snap on a punt, which gave Brown the ball at the Dartmouth nine-yard line.
- Brown used a big drive to tie the score right before halftime. Willcox connected with Moseley, who made a huge diving catch at the one-yard line, which set up Holtz one play later for a one-yard touchdown run, the first of his career, to knot the game at 14 with 55 seconds left.
- Dartmouth stole the momentum right back going into halftime, driving 75 yards on six plays in 52 seconds to score the go-ahead touchdown on a 20-yard pass with three seconds left to take the 21-14 lead into the locker room.
- Dartmouth struck again to get the lead back to 14 on their third play of the second half on a 72-yard catch and run down the left sideline by Grayson O'Bara to hold a 28-14 lead at 14:06.
- The lead grew to 21 points on a pick-six near midfield on the ensuing Brown drive that pushed the Big Gren lead to 35-14 at the 10:45 mark.
- Brown drove 80 yards in nine plays to pull within 35-21 at 2:49 as Murphy threw his first career touchdown pass to Pezza for the two-yard score. The drive was highlighted by a key catch over the middle by Najih Rahman, a 27-yard catch by Moseley and a 20-yarder by Michael Nesbit.
- Proctor broke off a 75-yard touchdown run on Dartmouth's second play after the score to answer right back.
- The Bears went right back up the field as Murphy delivered a great 24-yard throw to Linowes, who hauled in his first career touchdown catch by the front pylon to make it 42-28.
- Dartmouth scored on each of their next two possessions on Jackson Proctors runs to push the lead to 56-28 with 6:30 to go.
- Jake Willcox finishes his Brown career ranked among the program's leaders in several career categories, including passing yards (2nd/7,218), completions (2nd/708), touchdown passes (4th/42), and completion percentage (4th/.637).
- Senior Isaiah Reed, who missed six games due to injury, finishes his Brown career with 27 pass breakups, good for sixth in program history. The program record of 33 is held by Melvin Justice (1999-2001).
