HANOVER, N.H. – The Brown Bears (5-2-1) finished their regular season campaign with a defeat against the Dartmouth Big Green (7-0-0) by a score of 60-19.
Dartmouth came into this undefeated and ranked first in the conference. They dominated the early portion of that game and never looked back.
Brown's Yona Allouche scored in the first half to put the Bears on the scoreboard, making it 17-5 at the time. Nikki Lynch and Emme Ohnmacht added tries late, with Julia Muray and Caitlin Moroney adding conversions as well.
"It was a tough day at the office for the squad and we have a lot to focus on as we prepare for playoffs," said Kathleen Flores women's rugby head coach Rosalind Chou. "Still, we had some great moments and individual performances. Yona Allouche kept our attack pace up and Aziza Alford was really physical for us and created several turnovers. We will recuperate and get back to work."
