
Men's Swimming & Diving Takes Down Penn and Bryant

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's swimming and diving earned wins over Penn and Bryant in a tri-meet on Friday evening. The Bears took down the Quakers 174-126 and blew past the Bulldogs, 253-45.
The Bears won 11 total events with Marton Nagy winning four total events on the night.
Brown's first win came in the 200 medley relay (1:28.69) with the team of Marton Nagy, Jack Kelly, Christopher Zhang and Jonathan Gim.
Zhang earned a win in the 200 freestyle (1:38.57), followed by Donavan Jeng (1:39.38). Nagy earned a victory in the 100 backstroke (48.98) and Kelly won the 100 breaststroke (53.69).
The top-two spots in the 50 free belonged to Brown with Gim (20.12) followed by Marcus Lee (20.38). The Bears swept the 100 freestyle with Lee winning the event (44.36), Gim taking second (44.64) and Jeng placing third (45.51).
Nagy earned another win in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:48.37. and finished his night with a win in the 200 IM (1:47.17).
Rowland Lawver won both events with 367.55 points in the 1-meter and 354.35 points in the 3-meter.
Brown closed out the meet with a win in the 400 freestyle relay (2:59.51), from the team of Lee, Jerry O'Mara, Zhang and Jeng.
UP NEXT
Brown will host the Bruno Invitational next week from Thursday (Nov. 21) to Sunday (Nov. 24).
