Men's Tennis has Strong Showing on Day One of Brown Invite

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â Brown men's tennis opened play at the Brown Invitational on the third floor of the Pizzitola Sports Center on Saturday and came away with three doubles wins and two singles victories.
The doubles pair of juniors Tim Dzhurinskiy and Oliver Worth won both of their matches. They defeated grad student Nick Condos and senior Keean Smart from Fairlfeld (6-3) along with Boston University's senior Dion Loutas and sophomore Alejandro Licea (6-2).
Seniors Chun Lam and Ross Cornelissen secured a doubles win over Quinnipiac's seniors Ayato Arakaki and Donovan Brown.
In singles, it was junior Oliver Worth over Condos from Fairfield (6-7(5), 6-4, 10-6) and Lam who beat freshman Gustavs Dambins of Boston University (7-6(5), 3-6, 14-12).
The Bears wrap up the Brown Invitational on Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.
