Del Monte Registers Five Saves on Saturday at Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. – Brown field hockey (4-4, 0-2 Ivy League) fell to Dartmouth (4-3, 1-2 Ivy League) 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Chase Field.
Kylee Del Monte registered five saves and Imogan Goven and Lexi Pellegrino combined for six shots on goal.
The Bears outshot the Big Green 4-1 in the opening quarter. Dartmouth took a 1-0 lead with the game's first goal in the 26:24 marker and went into the half up one. Ella Bowman scored again in the third to make it 2-0 Big Green heading into the final quarter.
Brown threatened with seven shots in the fourth, but Dartmouth was able to secure its first conference win of the season.

Brown returns to Goldberger Family Field for two games next week, beginning with Yale on Wednesday, October 4 at 4 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and admission is free. The Bears are 2-0 at home and return for the first home contest since September 3.
