Saturday's season opener will be Youth Day and Cub Club Day. Other features include:

2023 BROADCASTS
This season, all of Brown's games, home and away, will be streamed live on ESPN+, except for the Bears' away contest at Penn on Friday, October 27 which will be nationally televised live on ESPNU.
There will be a new format this season regarding radio/audio coverage of all Brown football games. All 10 games will no longer air on the radio and will instead feature live audio broadcasts through the Brown Audio Network on BrownBears.com/Audio. The audio broadcast for all games can be accessed online through the audio links on the team's schedule, as well as on your phone through The Varsity Network app.
OPENING KICKOFF
• Brown will host Central Connecticut State for the first time in the Bears' home opener.
• The game will feature the Ivy League's top offense (437.5 total ypg) against a CCSU defense that ranks No. 2 in the NEC by allowing 341.3 yards of offense and 23.7 points per game.
• Brown won the first and only previous matchup last season, making a goal line stand at the end of regulation for a 27-20 win in New Britain.
• Brown holds the nation's third-best completion percentage at 71.3 percent.
• CCSU is coming off a bye week after previously playing FBS Kent State.
NATION'S LEADERS
Through the first two games, Brown leads all of FCS Football and has several players leading the nation in several categories.
Team
• First in FCS in passing yards per game (361.5)
• Brown is the least penalized team in the nation, committing just 3.0 penalties per game, including only one at Harvard.
• Brown is one of only five teams in FCS to have not allowed a fourth down conversion this season (one attempt).
Individual
• Jake Willcox leads the nation with 361.5 passing yards per game, over 53 yards more than the next closest passer (Max Brosmer-UNH), and 101.5 yards more than Penn's Aidan Sayin, the next closest Ivy League QB.
• Wes Rockett leads the nation with 136.0 receiving yards per game, nearly 30 yards more than they next closest receiver (Kisean Johnson-Ala. State).
TAKING CARE OF THE BALL
• Brown is one of just two teams in the nation to have not turned the ball over yet this season, along with North Dakota State, who has yet to turn the ball over in three games.
• Brown's turnover margin per game (+2.50) is No. 2 in FCS, trailing only San Diego (+2.75). Their total turnover margin (+5) is tied for seventh nationally.
• Brown only had one game all of 2022 (vs. Penn) without committing a turnover.
• 2023 marks the first season since 2018 where the Bears had more than one game without a turnover.
• Marks the first time since 2011 (3 games) that the Bears went two consecutive games without a turnover.
• Brown has not committed a turnover through the first two games to start a season since at least 2000 (as far back as single-game digital record go).
THRICE AS NICE
• Junior tailback Stockton Owen registered his first career multi-TD game at Harvard last Friday, scoring three rushing touchdowns.
• His four rushing touchdowns this season lead the Ivy League.
TOTAL OFFENSE
• Jake Willcox leads the Ivy League with 352.0 yards of total offense per game this season, 45.5 yards more than the next closest player (Jameson Wang-Cornell).
• Wes Rockett leads the Ivy League in all-purpose yards per game at 204.5. The No. 2 player in all-purpose yards is Cornell's Davon Kiser (140.0).
LOCK DOWN CORNERS
• Brown tallied seven pass breakups in week one, with Isaiah Reed (3) leading the league through two weeks.
