Brown Athletics, in Partnership with Narragansett Brewery, Releases Bruno Brew

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Just in time for the start of the 2023 home football season, Brown Athletics and Narragansett Brewery, have released Bruno Brew, a new beer that will be available for purchase exclusively at Brown football's five home games this season.
The limited-edition beer can be purchased at Richard Gouse Field at Brown Stadium beginning on Saturday, September 30 against Central Connecticut State.
In addition, Brown has also announced that alcoholic beverages will be served at select concession stands at Brown Stadium during all home games throughout the 2023 football season. Bruno Brew and other alcoholic beverages will be available at stands throughout the stadium, in addition to the Narragansett Beer Garden, located adjacent to the north end zone.
Brown Athletics' new officially licensed beer, made possible through its partnership with Narragansett Brewery, is the only such partnership in the Ivy League.
"We are so excited to bring this uniquely Bruno option to Brown Stadium this year," said M. Grace Calhoun, the Chancellor Samuel M. Mencoff '78 Vice President for Athletics and Recreation. "As we continue to responsibly enhance our gameday fan experience, Bruno Brew offers an opportunity to foster community spirit and alumni pride, in addition to several terrific initiatives we're unveiling this year to increase the entertainment value for families, friends, fans."
Bruno Brew is a blonde ale with a 4.2% alcohol by volume. The 16-ounce cans feature a custom label featuring the official Brown Bear Athletic logos. The beer is brewed by Narragansett Brewery, located at 271 Tockwotton Street in Providence. Bruno Brew will not be available for sale at Narragansett and can only be purchased in person at Brown Stadium.
