Men's Soccer Hosts Bryant for Saturday Night Match

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The first in-state battle of the season is Saturday night as the Brown men's soccer team hosts Bryant University on Saturday at 7 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.
Saturday Rhode Island FC Night. The team will be in attendance to promote the new organization.
Brown is looking to halt a three-game skid, while the Bulldogs are receiving votes and are one of five teams remaining in the country with a perfect record.

Scouting the Bears
- Junior Cal Walsh picked up his first-collegiate goal in the 88th minute against Sacred Heart on Wednesday. He was assisted by classmate Harri Sprofera and freshman Carlo Brown.
- Brown ended up falling to the Pioneers despite outshooting SHU 17-5 and having eight corner kicks compared to one for SHU.
- The Bears are tied for third in the Ivy League with four goals and lead the league with 50 shots, 21 shots on goal, and 21 corner kicks on the young season.
- Senior Kojo Dadzie is currently tied for third in the league with two goals, while sophomore Tanner Barry and Carlo Brown are tied for the conference lead with two assists.
- Bryant is currently receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches top 25 poll and is one of five teams in the country with an unscathed record at 5-0-0.
- The Bulldogs are one of two teams in the nation to not allow a goal this season and are outscoring opponents 12-0.
- Junior Marc Pitoch Bayot leads the team with three goals, including two game winners.
- Senior Luis Fernando Paul and Javier Solar Gandia each have two goals.
- Senior goalkeeper Antreas Hadjigavriel has a perfect save percentage and goals against average in five starts. He has only had to make five saves.
- Dating back to 2008, Brown holds an 8-3-0 record over Bryant.
- The Bears won eight-straight matches from 2008-2017, but have lost the last three meetings in 2019, 2021 and 2022.
