PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown head women's soccer coach Kia McNeill has announced the program's 2023 schedule. The 15-game slate features four opponents who qualified for the 2022 NCAA Tournament, eight nonconference matchups, and nine home games to be played at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
The Bears open their season at home on Aug. 25 against UAlbany. Brown will take on in-state foes Providence, on the road, and Rhode Island, at home, on Aug. 31 and Sept. 17 respectively.
Three of the four NCAA qualifiers from last season will visit Stevenson-Pincince Field in a stretch of three straight games from Sept. 6 – 14. The Bears will face Saint Louis on Sept. 6, the ACC's Wake Forest on Sept. 10, and Portland of the WCC on Sept. 14.
Ivy League play begins with a road matchup under the lights on Sept. 23 at Harvard. The Bears enter the season as back-to-back-to-back Ivy Champions, while the Crimsons have finished second in the Ivy standings in two of the last three seasons. The early-season clash will be expected to play a big role in determining the seeding for this year's Ivy League Tournament.
Brown wraps Ivy play at home against Dartmouth on Oct. 28 before turning its attention to the Ivy League Tournament. The top four teams in the regular season Ivy standings will advance to the tournament. The winner of the tournament will receive the league's auto bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Tickets for all nine home games will be available for purchase at BrownBears.com/tickets, or by clicking here, beginning on Wednesday, July 26 at noon.
