
Lau, Jeschke Earn All-Ivy Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Emmie Lau and Claire Jeschke of the Brown women's lacrosse team have been named to the All-Ivy League teams, as announced by the league office Wednesday. Lau was named First Team All-Ivy and to the Academic All-Ivy Team, while Jeschke earned Second Team All-Ivy honors.
Lau led Brown with 67 draw controls, 33 ground balls, and 19 caused turnovers. Her 2.36 ground balls per game led the Ivy League, while her caused turnovers and draws were both third in the conference. The senior had a career-high 13 draws and added four ground balls and four caused turnovers in a league win over Columbia. Her 165 career draws rank second in program history.
Jeschke led the Bears with 37 points on the season from 22 goals and 15 assists. Her goals were third on the team, while her assists were tied for first. She posted a season-high six points from five goals and one assist in the team's season-ending victory over Cornell. The Syracuse, N.Y. native ranks 11th all-time in program history with 125 points, 17th with 77 goals, and eighth with 48 assists.
