Sailing Wins Dellenbaugh Women's Team Race, Claims Two Other Top Three Finishes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown women's saiing team came in first place at the Dellenbaugh Women's Team Race this weekend, while the coed team took a pair of top three finishes at other events.

At Dellenbaugh, the women finished with a 12-2 record and defeated Yale in a sail off to officially take first out of 12 teams. Brielle Willoughby, Blaire McCarthy, Caroline Bayless, Emi Ruth, Francesca Edmands, Savannah Young, Kaitlyn Hamilton, and Helen Horangic competed for the Bears.

Elsewhere, the coed team came in second out of eight teams at the Cardinal Lynne Marchiando Team Race. Guthrie Braun, Liam O'Keefe, Connor Nelson, Lily Shore, Nora Ong, Jed Bell, and Isabel Cox sailed for Brown.

Finally, at the CT Valley Championship, a team of Katherine McNamara and Brianna Ross in Division A and Katharine Doble and Janelle Li in Division B combined to finished third out of 16 teams.
