Women's Basketball Falls at Yale in Season Finale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Brown women's basketball (11-15, 4-10 Ivy) finished up its season with a 63-53 loss at Yale (13-14, 7-7 Ivy) on Saturday.
The Bears were led by Grace Arnolie with 14 points and Isabella Mauricio finished the game with 12. Page Greenburg came off the bench to score a career-high 11 points.
Ada Anamekwe finished the game with seven points and six rebounds and Alyssa Moreland led the Bears with nine rebounds and four assists, while also scoring four points.
Brown got out to a hot start, leading 17-10 after the first quarter as the Bears went 3-for-5 from three in the first 10 minutes and shot almost 54 percent from the floor.
Things turned in the second quarter when Brown shot just 25 percent and Yale hit 53 percent from the field. A three from Arnolie put Brown up 28-24 with 2:23 left in the half but the Bears went scoreless the rest of the half as Yale used a 9-0 run to take a 33-28 lead into halftime.
The Bears never got closer than seven the rest of the second half as the Bulldogs pulled away for the victory.
