
Equestrian Has Strong Showing at JWU Show

REHOBOTH, Mass. – Brown equestrian competed at the Johnson & Wales Show on Saturday. The Bears had one first place finish on the day.
Sophie Butcher finished first for the second-straight show in the Intermediate Flat. In the Intermediate Fences, Amber Keown-Lang finished fourth.
Sophia Ekstrand was Brown's lone competitor in the Open Fences and Flat. Ekstrand finished fourth in both events and qualified for regionals in the Open Fences.
In the Limit Fences, Daphne Maniatis took second place, and pointed out into the intermediate division. Maniatis also qualified for regionals in the event.
Lauren Lee-Hing finished fourth in the Novice competition and Kira Clarke was fourth in the Introductory competition.

Brown will compete in the Roger Williams and Salve Regina Show on Saturday, March 18.
