
Women's Tennis Set for ECAC Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â Brown women's tennis is set for the ECAC Championships hosted by Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. The Tournament begins Friday and concludes on Sunday.
Brown first faces Penn on Friday at 5 p.m. From there, the Bears will match up with either Yale or Columbia on Saturday and either Princeton, Harvard, Cornell or Dartmouth on Sunday.
The Bears enter ECAC's with a 3-1 record this spring with 7-0 sweeps over Binghamton, Providence and Colgate.
The doubles team of senior Britany Lau and Addison Ahlstrom, which is ranked No. 22 in the nation in the latest ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings, has an 11-1 record, including 3-0 this spring at first doubles. Junior Nora Lee and freshman Vivian Miller are 9-4 in doubles and junior Ali Benedetto and sophomore Lindsey Hofflander are 5-3 as a pair.
Brown has been impressive in singles matches as well. Ahlstrom is 9-1, while Lau is 8-2, Miller is 7-3 and junior Olivia Mariotti has a 10-4 record.
