Women's Swimming and Diving Beats Dartmouth Behind Seven Event Wins

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's swimming and diving picked up a win against Dartmouth, 208-92. The Bears fell to Princeton 132-168 in a close contest in another dual meet.
Brown earned seven event wins, including taking the top spot in both relays. The Bears started the meet with the team of Jenna Reznicek, Gillian Tu, Hannah Ahn and Morgan Lukinac winning the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:41.09.
Dana Li finished second in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:12.57.
Brown finished second and third in the 200 freestyle with Anna Podurgiel in second (1:51.36) and Kelly Dolce in third (1:51.62).
Reznicek picked up her second win of the day in the 100 backstroke, touching the wall in 54.23. Reznicek also took third in the 200 backstroke (1:59.97).
Tu also picked up her second win of the meet in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.79.
Lukinac earned a win in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.22 and was second in the 100 free with a time of 50.83. Dolce was third in the 100 free, clocking a time of 51.00.
Zehra Bilgin finished first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 54.94 and took third in the 200 fly with a time of 2:00.18. Ahn was third in the 100 fly, touching the wall in 55.62.
Catherine Yu took third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:19.58.
On the boards, Isabella George won the 3-meter for Brown with a score of 284.80. George was the top Bear in the 1-meter with a score of 264.85. Elena Yeh took third in the 1-meter with 253.50 points.
The meet closed with the team of Lily Klinginsmith, Dolce, Bilgin and Lukinac winning the 400 free relay (3:24.21) and the team of Podurgiel, Tu, Gianna Miller and Ahn finishing third (3:28.23).

Brown will be on the road for its next meet when the Bears travel to Penn on Saturday, Nov. 11.
