Men's Swimming and Diving Has Another Record Set on Day Two of Bruno Classic

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's swimming and diving had a program record set on the springboards as the Bears continued its strong performance on Day Two of the Bruno Invitational.
Rowland Lawver broke Brown's school record on the 3-meter springboard with 391.80 points, winning the event. Matteo Vasiliadis was second in the event with 360.90 points.
Brown started the night with a win in the 200 medley relay by the team of Harrison Powe, Jack Kelly, Nathan DePiero and Jonathan Gim with a time of 1:26.62.
Chris Ma earned a win in the 100 butterfly with a time of 48.11.
The Bears had two of the top-three spots in the 400 IM with Aidan Wilson taking first (3:53.26) and Jake Regenwetter finishing third (3:54.22).
Marcus Lee was the top finisher for Brown in the 200 freestyle, taking third in the event with a time of 1:38.50.
It was a podium sweep in the 100 breaststroke for Brown with Kelly winning the event (52.18), followed by Regenwetter (54.02) and Powe (54.16).
The team of Marcus Lee, Donavan Jeng, KJ Losee and Andrew Berzolla finished second in the 800 freestyle relay (6:38.20) to close out the night.
UP NEXT
The Bears will close out the 2023 Bruno Invitational on Sunday with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. and the finals starting at 5 p.m.
