NEW ORLEANS – Both the Brown men's and women's cross country programs have been recognized as All-Academic teams by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their performances in the classroom during the Fall 2022 semester.
The men's team posted the highest cumulative team GPA in the Ivy League and the fifth-highest in the nation out of 216 qualified Division I teams, trailing only Vanderbilt, Idaho, Creighton, and Southeast Missouri State.
The women's team was one of 249 Division I teams honored, ranking second in the Ivy League and 39th nationally.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
