
Ivy League Set to Host Lacrosse Preseason Media Days; Tournament Locations Announced

PRINCETON, N.J. – With the 2023 lacrosse seasons set to get underway, the Ivy League has announced the dates and times for two preseason virtual media days featuring all of the women's and men's programs.
The women's lacrosse media day is slated for Wednesday, February 1 while the men's session will take place on Thursday, February 2. Both events will begin at 11 a.m.
The calls will feature all head coaches as well as student-athletes from each team. Both of ESPN's lead commentators for its Championship Weekend broadcasts last year will serve as the moderators for the calls — Jay Alter for the women's session and Anish Shroff for the men's schedule. Additionally, the league has announced the tournament locations for the upcoming season with the women's event going to the campus of the top seed and the men's event heading to Columbia University. Both tournaments will be held on Friday, May 5 (semifinals) and Sunday, May 7 (championship games). Ticket information for each event will be available at a later date.
Ivy League lacrosse returns for the 2023 campaigns after one of the most successful years in its tradition-filled history. Last season, 10 programs appeared in the national rankings throughout the year. In the postseason, the league earned seven bids into the NCAA Tournaments and compiled eight wins in the events, including two men's teams reaching Championship Weekend.
The Ivy League lacrosse seasons begin Saturday, February 18. All Ivy League home events will be broadcast on ESPN+ this season.
