PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's swimming and diving team defeated Cornell 212.5-87.5 Saturday afternoon in the team's final dual meet of the season.
"We picked the right day to show up and have our best dual meet performance of the season," head coach Kevin Norman said. "The afternoon could not have started better opening with a 1-2 finish in the 200 Medley Relay then sweeping the next three events. When you create that much momentum and energy it's tough to beat.
"It was clear how much the team wanted to send our three seniors, Vincent Huang, Tyler Lu and Lukas Scheidl, out with a big win in their last dual meet at Brown. That's a special class that has contributed so much to our program, I could not be happier for them. They deserved this win."
In total, Brown won 14 of the 16 events on the day. They swept the podium in four of those including the 500 free, 100 back, 200 free, and 1000 free.
In the 1000 free, Aidan Wilson took first (9:16.40), Andrew Berzolla second (9:23.79), and Max Hardart third (9:26.75.
