Women's basketball announces 2022-23 schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's basketball head coach Monique LeBlanc has announced the Bears 2022-23 slate. The Bears will play 14 games at the Pizzitola Sports Center, including opening night.
Brown will begin its season with a matchup against Fairfield on Nov. 7 at home before traveling to Duquesne (Nov. 11) and Wagner (Nov. 13). The Bears will host six more non-conference games with matchups against Sacred Heart (Nov. 16), Monmouth (Nov. 25), Holy Cross (Nov. 30), Hartford (Dec. 4), Mitchell College (Dec. 10) and Bryant (Dec. 21).
The Bears are scheduled to be on the road during non-conference play at UMass Lowell (Nov. 19), Central Connecticut State (Nov. 28), Providence (Dec. 7) and Florida Gulf Coast (Dec. 28).
"Our non-conference schedule features three conference champions, two opponents from top-10 conferences and a top-25 team," said LeBlanc. "We are excited to challenge ourselves with a strong non-conference slate as we prepare for the intensity of Ivy League competition."

Brown will play its first four Ivy League games on the road. Brown will be at Penn (Jan. 2), Harvard (Jan. 6), Dartmouth (Jan. 7) and Princeton (Jan. 14).
The first Ivy League home game will be against Yale on Jan. 16. The Bears will spend most of the second half of Ivy League play at home with games against Cornell (Jan. 28), Dartmouth (Feb. 3), Harvard (Feb. 4), Princeton (Feb. 17), Penn (Feb. 18) and Columbia (Feb. 25).
The season closes with a game at Yale on March 4.
The Ivy League Tournament will be held at Princeton from March 10-12.
2022-23 women's basketball season tickets will go on sale on Monday, Sept. 26.
