
Track and Field to Host Throws Clinic July 30-31

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Track and Field Clubs and Clinics will host its annual throws clinic Saturday-Sunday, July 30-31 at Brown Stadium.
The commuter only/day camp will present a great opportunity for any thrower looking to improve, especially those interested in competing at the collegiate/Ivy League level.
The coed camp is open to any and all participants ages 11-18 and focuses on the throwing events of shot put, javelin, hammer and discus. The clinic will be led by Brown University throws coach and former U.S. Olympian, Craig Kinsley, with additional instruction featuring Olympian and U.S. champion Sean Furey, U.S. championship discus runner-up Bryan Powlen and other collegiate and elite level coaches and athletes.
