Women's Rugby Places 13 on NIRA All-Academic Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Eight Bears were added to the NIRA All-Academic squad to bring Brown's total to 13 student-athletes recognized by the organization for their efforts in the classroom.
By class, six seniors, three juniors, and four sophomores picked up NIRA All-Academic team accolades.
Student-athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and be a starter or important reserve on the team. Student-athletes must also be sophomores or higher with a full calendar year at their current institution.
Emmajane Rhodenhiser picks up a spot on the NIRA All-Academic Team for the third time of her career. The Ann Arbor, Michigan native graduated in May with a concentration in Neuroscience.
Four Bears earn NIRA All-Academic team honors for the second time of their respective careers: Maggie Bachenberg, Johanna Bandler, Ainsley Clapp, and Gemma Ryu. These four student-athletes all graduated in May as members of the Class of 2022.
The four Bruno sophomores named to the NIRA All-Academic team do so in their first year of eligibility.
In total, 185 student-athletes received NIRA All-Academic recognition. Dartmouth led the nation with 21 student-athletes named to the list with Harvard taking second with 17 selections.
