The 4- and 4x- crews both advanced through the semifinal races into the Championship finals, both falling to the Leander Club in closely-contested races.
"We want to congratulate this team on their excellent racing at Henley and all through the season and we want to thank the administrators, parents and friends who helped make it possible," said Head Coach John Murphy. "The cheer at the end of the medal ceremony today was definitely a special touch."
The 4- crew clocked a semifinal time of 4:54.5 to advance to the Championship with a one-length win over Tyrian Club / London University (4:57.0).
The crew then hit the water three hours later for the Championship race against Leander Club. The Bears finished with a time of 4:56.3 in the final, finishing two seconds behind Leander in a tightly-contested race.
