Women's Crew to Compete in Historic Regattas on River Thames

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Make sure to follow the Brown Women's Crew Instagram account (@brownwrowing) over the next three weeks as they train and compete in Henley-on-Thames, England for the 2022 Henley Women's Regatta and 2022 Henley Royal Regatta.
Twenty Bears are across the Atlantic to compete in the historic Regattas on the historic Thames.
The Henley Royal Regatta was established in March 1839 and includes more than 300 races across six days at all levels of competition. The Henley Women's Regatta is a decades-old event that began in 1988 to provide the growing number of women in the sport an international competition on the Henley reach.
The 2022 Henley Women's Regatta begins on Friday, June 17 and continues through Sunday, June 19. Following a week of training, the Henley Royal Regatta kicks off on Tuesday, June 28 and continues through Sunday, July 3.
