
Five Brown divers to compete at NCAA Zone A Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Five members of the Brown men's and women's diving team will compete at the NCAA Zone A Championships hosted at the Naval Academy from March 7-9.
Alexa Brinker, Julia Feord and Liv Mitchell will compete on the women's side. Trevor Labuda and Nick Shen will take part in the men's competition.
On the women's side, Feord and Mitchell will both take part in the 1-meter and 3-meter events. Brinker will compete in just the 1-meter event.
For the men, Labuda will compete in both events, while Shen will take part in the 1-meter.
On Monday, March 7, the women will compete in the 1-meter competition and the men will take part in the 3-meter event.
The events will flip on Tuesday, March 8, with the men competing on the 1-meter and the women taking part in the 3-meter.
Liv Mitchell posted the top score for the women in the 1-meter this season with 285.08 points. Feord had the third best score on the team (277.80) and Brinker was fifth (267.15). In the 3-meter Feord scored a team-high 306.45 points, followed closely by Mitchell at 304.00.
Labuda had a record-breaking year for the Bears, setting the program record in both the 1-meter (355.43) and the 3-meter (380.40). Shen posted a score of 302.70 in the 3-meter.
