McLane Added to Men's Lacrosse Tewaaraton Award Watch List

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior attackman Devon McLane has been added to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, announced by the Tewaaraton Award Foundation earlier today.
McLane leads the Bears in goals (16), assists (14), and points (30). He leads the Ivy League and ranks seventh in the NCAA with 6.00 points per game. He also leads the conference and is in the NCAA top-10 with 2.80 assists per game.
On Tuesday (Mar. 1) against Villanova, McLane exploded for a career-high five assists and nine points to lead the Bears to a 15-14 over the Wildcats. He became the first Bear since Dylan Molloy '17 to record nine or more points in a single game.
McLane joins teammate Ryan Aughavin on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List. Aughavin was named to the prestigious list prior to the start of the season.
The 16th-ranked Brown Bears (4-1, 0-0 Ivy) host Stony Brook (4-1, 0-0 America East) on Saturday (Mar. 12) at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Saturday's game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and will stream on ESPN+. Click here to purchase tickets.
