
Raphino, Cardoza named to TopDrawerSoccer Best XI teams

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior Brittany Raphino and freshman Naya Cardoza of the Brown women's soccer team have been named to TopDrawerSoccer's Best XI teams, as announced by the publication.
Raphino has been named to the Best XI Second Team, while Cardoza has earned Freshman Best XI Second Team honors.
The award adds to Raphino's postseason award haul that already includes First Team All-America, First Team All-Region, Ivy Offensive Player of the Year, and First Team All-Ivy honors. After three full seasons with the Bears, the Randolph, Mass. native is tied for sixth in program history with 29 goals and is eighth with 71 points.
Cardoza earned Honorable Mention All-Ivy honors in her freshman season in Providence. She started all 17 games in which she played as part of the Brown back line that allowed just .72 goals per game, the top mark in the Ivy League and 26th in the nation.
