Scouting the Bears (3-4)
- Brown's defense held Central Connecticut to just 51 points earlier this week. It was the Bears' best defensive showing of the season and the second time they held an opponent in the 50s after giving up just 53 in a win over Stony Brook.
- Kino Lilly Jr. followed up his career-high 32-point performance against Maine with a solid outing against the Blue Devils with 16 points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals, including a perfect 6-for-6 showing from the free throw line.
- Nana Owusu-Anane continues to lead the team in both rebounds (7.7) and assists (2.9) per game. He is also tied with Paxson Wojcik for the team lead with 12 steals on the year.
- Bryant is in the middle of a four-game winning streak which included a 73-72 victory on the road over Syracuse on Nov. 26. The other three wins during the stretch have come against Florida International, Detroit Mercy, and Framingham State.
- All five players who have started at least six games for Bryant are averaging double digit points on the year, led by Charles Pride's 16.3.
- The Bulldogs are averaging 95.7 points per game as a team, while allowing just 69.0 for a +26.7 scoring margin.
- In Hartford's 74-66 win over FDU, Briggs McClain had a game-high 23 points. Jared Kimbrough had 12 points and a game-high nine boards.
- McClain leads the team on the year with 17.6 points per game. His 13 steals are also a team high.
- Pano Pavlidis leads the Hawks with 7.6 rebounds per game.
- Brown leads the all-time series over Bryant at 17-2. The Bulldogs took last year's matchup 65-59 despite a game-high 17 points from Dan Friday.
