Men’s Swimming and Diving Defeats Dartmouth on Saturday

PRINCETON, N.J. – Brown men's swimming and diving (1-2, 1-2 Ivy) picked up a 194-104 win over Dartmouth (0-2, 0-2 Ivy) on Saturday at the Princeton Double-Dual. The Bears fell to #RV Princeton (2-0, 2-0 Ivy).
Brown posted four top-three finishes, highlighted by Jack Kelly's 55.58 mark in the 100 breaststroke and Andrew Berzolla's 9:24.33 finish in the 1000-yard free. Both finishes were good for second, respectively, in their events with the 400-yard free relay team of Marcus Lee, Jerry O'Mara, Chris Ma and Tyler Lu also placing second.
"It was good to pick up our first win of the season on the road," said Kevin Norman, Ollie '50 & Kay Patrell Men's Swimming & Diving Coaching Chair. "Racing at Yale on Friday evening and then turning around for a meet at Princeton the next day is certainly a challenge, but we fought through it and came away with a lot of exciting performances over the last 24 hours. I'm proud of this team."
